Touchdown!

Roshan learned his most important word yet: "touchdown". With the new Eagles offensive line in place, I have a feeling he will be saying it a lot in the fall.

It took us forever to try to capture it on film. Every time we turned on the camera he would just smile and run to it. We were able to trick him with a diversion, but he quickly foiled our plan and again ran to the camera.

Next up: "Touchdown Bears!"

Mother's Day

We had my parents over for Mother's Day weekend. We ended up checking out the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito (note to all, it turns out that most museums in San Francisco give free admission on Mother's Day). This was basically Roshan's dream come true. He got a chance to run around all over the place, and spent a good 30 minutes splashing water all over himself and anyone who came within a five foot radius of him.

Late night photo shoot

Roshan refused so go to sleep last night. We spent about 30 minutes trying to "convince" him to go to bed, but figured it wasn't worth the fight. Instead, we decided to do a mini photo shoot. As you can tell from this picture, he clearly knows he is getting away with it.

Golden Gate bridge bike ride

Roshan had his first bike ride this weekend! We ended up doing the biking trail from Fisherman Wharf to Sausalito for Sheetal's birthday.

Roshan looked quite comfortable in the bike trailer. As he should, since I ended up carrying him the entire way. To make matters worse, we took a wrong turn and ended up doing one more additional hill just to make it more of a challenge. I was rewarded with several others calling me "Super Dad" on the trail.

Happy New Year!

We wanted to wish you all a fantastic start to the New Year!

Last year was a big year for the Chandra family. We added a new member to the family (hello Roshan!), purchased our first home, visited some new places (Montana, Maui) and even managed to buy a Wii Fit. Basically, we got old very fast.

It is amazing how much has changed in just a year. Roshan alone has grown five times his original size! In honor of this change (and that other major event that took place in 2008...hello Obama), here is an end of year video.
